- Boiled chicken - 1 cup (cut into small pieces)
- Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
- Raw rice - ½ cup
- Celery - ¼ cup (chopped)
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Maida (All purpose flour) - 2 tbsp
- Water - 2 cups
- Milk - 2 cups
- Black pepper powder - as per taste
- Salt
Preparation
- Mix celery, chopped onion, rice and water.
- Cook until rice is cooked well and water evaporates.Keep aside.
- Mix butter and maida in a bowl and then add 1 cup milk to make a smooth paste.
- Add the paste to the rice mixture.
- Put to boil and stir continuously so that no lumps are formed.
- Add chicken pieces and remaining milk and stir continuously.
- Add pepper powder and salt.
- Cook for 5 minutes.Serve hot.
