Serve hot with Sauce or Chutney.
- Basin (Gram Flour) - 2 cups
- Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
- Bread Slices - 5
- Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 pinch
- Oil to fry
- Ghee/Butter - 3 tbsp
- Salt
Preparation
- Toast the bread slices for a minute in a tawa to make them little crisp.
- Cut the bread slice diagonally to make 2 triangular pieces. Keep them aside.
- Mix basin, rice flour, chiili powder, salt and baking soda and make a little thick batter.
- It should not be too watery or too thick.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Apply little butter or ghee on each bread piece to make bajji crispy.
- Dip it in batter and slide it into oil.
- Fry till golden brown.
Serve hot with Sauce or Chutney.
