Bread Bajji

Ingredients
  • Basin (Gram Flour) - 2 cups
  • Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Bread Slices - 5
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1 pinch
  • Oil to fry
  • Ghee/Butter - 3 tbsp
  • Salt

Preparation
  • Toast the bread slices for a minute in a tawa to make them little crisp.
  • Cut the bread slice diagonally to make 2 triangular pieces. Keep them aside.
  • Mix basin, rice flour, chiili powder, salt and baking soda and make a little thick batter.
  • It should not be too watery or too thick.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Apply little butter or ghee on each bread piece to make bajji crispy.
  • Dip it in batter and slide it into oil.
  • Fry till golden brown.

Serve hot with Sauce or Chutney.
